Wet Farming

Wet Farming is practiced in the areas of alluvial soils where annual average rainfall is more than 200cm.

Here, more than one crop is grown in a year because enough amount of moisture in the soil is available.

Rice and jute are the main crops of these types of farming.

West Bengal, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, and Malabar Coast fall under this category of farming.
